Yoga is the union of body and mind. It
is discipline of mind and body. It imparts quality life
and leads to self- development. Yoga conditions one in every
aspect of life. Today right from birth till we breathe our
last, we are living a stressful life. Yoga helps in channelising
one’s thoughts and enables one to a perfect physical
health and mental well- being. The aim of Yoga is to remove
obstacles and move from Adharma to Dharma, Ajnana to Jnana,
Avairagya to Vairagya and Anaisvarya to Aisvarya.
Dharma or self- directed discipline.
Jnana or knowledge of one’s body, mind and soul.
Vairagya or detachment from worldly desires.
Aisvarya or self- esteem.
Adharma opposite of Dharma.
Ajnana or ignorance.
Avairagya or attachment.
Anaisvarya or incapacities.
The idea behind one’s practice is to cultivate insight
and wisdom, and to grow.
Sometimed we advise others to do what we ourselves
do not.

One often discovers blessings in disguise.
One thinks more of what one has than of what one lacks.
One sees well in others.
One is in the present rather than in the past or future.
One feels easily grateful.
The psychology of Yoga says that all the good and all the
positivity are inside the human being already. Negativity
is to be realized in oneself and then removed.
Regular practice of meditation and yoga asanas will help.
If our young one’s practice yoga at early age we can
ensure them better citizens of tomorrow.
Yoga also deals with all types of health problems.
One can free themselves from many diseases and live a balance
life with incurable diseases.
Diseases such as Asthma, Sinusitis, or any Respiratory problem,
Cervical Spondilitis, Lumbar Spondilitis , Hypertension,
Cardiac, Obesety ,Digestive problem can be taken care.
Meditative asanas such as Padmasana, Sukhasana,Vajarasana
help in conditioning one’s mind.
Anti rheumatic exercises helps in loosening the joints and
prevents Oestoporosis.
Trataka helps in strengthening the eye muscles.
Forward bending asanas help in improving the flexibility.
Backward bending asanas help in strengthening the back muscles.
Yoga for PRENATAL /POSTNATAL DELIVERY:
A fit woman can bear the strain of labour and delivery and
also the recovery period much better than a woman who is
not fit. Exercises eliminate most of pregnancy-associated
problems by improving the blood circulation, toning the
muscles and enabling the pelvic, spinal and abdominal muscles
to support the added weight of the uterus. There will be
no soreness and exhaustion following childbirth if regular
exercise has been followed.
Any exercise is to be strictly done under the guidance of
an instructor.
Body is made up of 5 Elements:
Fire, Earth, Space, Air and Water. If these 5 elements are
taken care in body then no disease will occur.
