Avoid high fat meats, including beef, pork, lamb, sausagues and processed meats all non-veg food Deep fried food, rich soups, rich sambhar, cream, ice-cream and high fat cheeses, high fat spreads and mayonnaises. All cheeses, except low fat cottage cheese. Rich sauces made with cream, cheese or eggs. All sweets including chocolates, sugar and food with added sugar pastries, cakes and biscuits, white bread, snack foods such as crisps sweetened, fizzy drinks, concentrated juices and fruit drinks and cola drinks. Avoid mango, banana, chikku, grapes & potato.



Do not eat without knowing the calories values of the food. Do not drink water in between meals. Drink water half hour before and half hour after your meal. Eat more watery vegetables such as all gourds and fruits which are low in calories. Eat fruits in between in case of hunger pangs. Eat slowly and chew the food properly. Avoid eating while reading or watching TV. After dinner there should be a gap of 2 hours for sleeping. Keep a diary of your activities and food intake. You will know yourself where the mistake is.

12.00 am

100 gms raw salad, 300 gms vegetables, 3 chapatis / 200 gms of rice / dalia / khichadi, dal alternate days and butter / soup.

 

 

4.00 pm

Fruit juice / a jucy fruit.

 

 

7.00 pm

2 or 3 varieties of fruits, each 100 gms, 200 gms steamed vegetables and 1 tablespoon full of sprouts and soups.
