The word Yoga comes from Indian philosophy, it literally means union, and in this context refers to the union of the individual's soul with the universal.

Dear Yoga Students,

They say,
Corporate whiz kids relax with it,
Patients recoup with it,
Weight watchers slim down with it,
Warriors chill with it,
Sages find GOD with it.

Unlike what you think (and unlike what most people think) Yoga is not something boring, nor is it about going to Ashrams and doing asanas. No, in fact Yoga now has a lot of glamour attached to it. Celebrities like Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan, Richard Gere, Prince Brosnan and loads of supermodels, pop divas are all in to yoga. Even our late Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi practiced yoga daily. This definitely helped her to get a cool mind to run the country.

Well, these are just a few names but they showcase the importance of this age old practice. They all use Yoga as a tool to cope up with their anxieties of stressful public life, to graduate them from distress to de-stress. To make them look good, feel good, help them improve relationships with everyone around them, and lastly but not the least, to increase their life span.

Actually Yoga is all about self-development through mind and body control. Remember the movie “Matrix”? Allow me to tell you that the “Matrix” is a pretty ordinary thing compared to what Yoga can achieve. I know you may find it hard to this but wait until you read all about it.

Yoga is ancient but it is based on authentic scientific principles. It goes to the very heart of the greatest mystery of modern science-the mind-body interface-the original hardware of our body. The question is, is the human body like a computer the way some scientists tell us. Or, is there more to human beings than such a soulless scientific view? Well then, join me on this grand adventure and find out the answers yourself.

Are you interested? Then read on and have a real adventure.
